THE 8TH ANNUAL BOLDFEST!!
A Conference & Gathering For Bold, Old(er) Lesbians & Dykes!
September, 6-9 2012, Coast Plaza Hotel, Vancouver BC
Our theme this year is BOLD VOICES which we’ll celebrate in speech and song throughout the conference. You’ll be entertained and captivated by powerful music and the conversation of smart, savvy, fabulous BOLD women.
Our Saturday night buffet dinner and performance features SUGARBEACH, a feisty and dynamic Canadian-Aussie duo who have won several awards and nominations for their outstanding original songs and performances.
SugarBeach wrote the 30th Anniversary theme song for Vancouver Pride, “Living Out Proud”, which was also used by cities all over the world for Pride celebrations. Living Out Proud won Song of the Year in the OutVoice Top 40 Chart and was used to open Pride House Vancouver and Whistler for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
