Hi everyone
This blog is intended to offer resources, emotional support and also to share my own personal experiences of being a caregiver and also a middle aged British lesbian seeking healthcare resources in Seattle, Washington.
This blog is aimed at all people and communities who identify on the lgbtqia spectrum (lesbian, gay, bisexual, twospirit/transgender/, queer/questioning, intersex and their allies) and as well as educators and healthcare providers.
I specifically want to reach out to the communities that have faced not only homophobia, but also those people who have experienced any kind of xenophobia (based on fear of "other"), including racism, ableism (discrimination towards people with disAbilities), immigrant phobia and, of course, ageism, both in the general community as well as the lgbtqia communities.
